Pioneering, responsible and innovative, the Sansaw Estate has evolved over six generations to become what it is today. With 120 tenanted cottages, an award-winning business park and progressive dairy, all set within 3,000 hectares of managed Shropshire countryside, Sansaw offers a holistic vision for rural living and working.
Since 2007 SEA have worked alongside Sansaw, rolling out the original strategy and identity from digital to physical signage and were tasked with refreshing and revitalising the brand to reflect the many changing aspects of the estate.

Sansaw’s approach is all about long-term sustainability, working hand-in-hand with the environment to ensure that it serves their needs, not just today, but for generations to come. From woodland management and tree planting to animal welfare and the maintenance of historic buildings, Sansaw combines a deep respect for heritage and tradition with a forward-thinking spirit, adapting to new conditions, restoring balance between people, nature and economy.
Sansaw’s work reflects a moment in time, but is also part of a continuous cycle. Passionate about good stewardship, and knowing that although they won’t always see the benefits of decisions they make today, taking good care of their assets will create future opportunities for growth and development long after they have gone. Most of all Sansaw is about people. Their ambition is to nurture happy and healthy communities, with a strong sense of belonging and a wonderful shared experience of living and working together.
We set out to reflect the future ambitions of the brand and the many exciting changes made to the Estate over the past few years with a refreshed brand strategy and design direction. We created a digital-first symbol, a colour palette to reflect the changing of the seasons and the introduction of a new serif typeface to acknowledge their rich heritage.
New guidelines, a re-energised website and dynamic film content secure Sansaw’s way of life for the future.
