Background
No woman should have to fear childbirth due to a lack of water. Yet every two seconds a woman gives birth in a healthcare facility without clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, putting her and her baby’s lives at risk. Worldwide, over a million mothers and babies die each year from preventable infections during childbirth.
Time To Deliver calls on decision-makers to ensure that clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene are treated as essential, non-negotiable parts of maternal healthcare. From marches in Malawi to engaging UK MPs, this WaterAid campaign is taking action globally.
Brief
To develop a campaign strategy and identity that delivers a clear and concise message, strongly emphasising the collective pressure for change.
Solution
In collaboration with WaterAid, we created a bold and impactful campaign identity that enabled a flexible yet clear system. This can be easily adapted and remain consistent across print and digital touchpoints in a global context, without straying from the key message.
With a simple colour palette, bold typography, and an impactful underscore, our visuals built momentum, amplified the voices of those most affected by water scarcity, and inspired people worldwide to stand with them.
The solution is simple: clean water saves lives. World leaders have the power to fix this. Together, we can tell them: It’s Time To Deliver.
