As part of our long-standing collaboration with Monotype and the Italian paper maker Fedrigoni, ‘Made in Italy NYC’ took a fresh curatorial look at the profound influence and long-standing design connection between Italy and the U.S with a sold out public exhibition and book launch.
Brief
“What does Italian design mean to you?” This was the central question posed to a broad spectrum of artists and designers around the globe who responded with their own unique interpretation in the form of a limited edition printed poster.
Solution
Our response was inspired by the iconic Italian typeface ‘Forma’ which became a central part of the Made In Italy exhibition and campaign. The ‘F’ glyph is the hero explored in 3D motion and print, expressing the renowned cultural influence of Italian design.
